Manage a workspace through your agent

Coming soon. People with the relevant grant can ask their agent to preview and request workspace changes.

The planned MCP tools let your agent help with workspace settings, access, vocabulary and Signals. You can ask for a preview in plain language. The tools appear only for people who have the relevant grant. Workspace membership alone doesn’t grant administration.

Preview before a change

Ask the agent to show the exact change, its area and who gains or loses access. For vocabulary changes, review sample entries before approving. For a Signal, check its sources, placement, schedule and expiry.

The agent requests approval through the supported review flow. It checks the receipt and reads back the resulting state. A preview isn’t a completed change.

Authority stays limited

A request can’t give your agent a grant you don’t have. A delegated routine grant doesn’t include administration. The agent can’t approve its own request or change policy to avoid a review.

Workspace administrators manage workspace policy. Boundary and compartment owners manage their granted areas. Shared vocabulary administration doesn’t expose a workspace’s source passages to other workspaces.
