Your agent

Ask the record

Ask a question in a named workspace, follow its citations and distinguish unsupported answers from service failures.

Ask your agent to use Syderial and name the workspace. For example: “In my project workspace, what did we decide about the release? Cite the record.”

Your agent searches within your current access. If the workspace is unclear, it asks you to choose. Check the workspace in the result before relying on the answer.

A citation connects the answer to a recorded statement or retained source. Ask your agent to open the evidence behind a citation. Check the wording, attribution, dates and conditions.

The answer includes the scope it searched. A partial result doesn’t prove that no other source exists. A summary without supporting citations isn’t a recorded fact.

Syderial doesn’t reveal that records exist above your sensitivity or outside your boundaries and compartments. Names, counts and errors can’t provide that hint. “No support found” describes the record available to you. It doesn’t describe another person’s record.

An accessible item can still be withheld because its evidence is unverified, its line hasn’t passed admission, its meaning is contested or the response can’t include it. A withheld reason applies only when you’re allowed to know the item exists. It doesn’t permit your agent to guess its content.

Detailed withheld summaries across all reading paths are coming soon. Don’t interpret a missing count as proof that nothing was withheld.

When the record doesn’t support an answer

Section titled “When the record doesn’t support an answer”

Ask the agent to say what the accessible record supports and where support ends. It must keep a general suggestion separate from a statement about your workspace.

A failed service is a failed read. It isn’t an empty record. Ask the agent to report the failure and retry when the service is available.

See Workspaces, boundaries and compartments for access rules and Receipts and verification for recorded outcomes.
