Review pending work
Use Needs you to inspect evidence and make a recorded decision about a pending claim or request.
Needs you brings together the pending items available to you. Claims, approvals and access requests require different decisions. Read the item type before acting.
Review a claim
Section titled “Review a claim”- Check the active workspace, then open Needs you.
- Choose Claims to narrow the list. Use search to find a statement in the displayed collection.
- Select Review on the claim. Read the statement and its Source evidence.
- Compare the wording with the evidence. Check who or what the statement describes, its date, and any limits or conditions. An absent qualification can change the meaning.
- Select Endorse claim if the evidence supports it, or Reject if it doesn’t. Enter a reason where requested.
- Read the confirmation and confirm your decision. Check the resulting state before moving on.
Endorsement records your acceptance of the claim. Rejection records your refusal. Neither action edits the original source or changes who wrote the statement. If evidence is missing, restricted or unavailable, resolve that gap before endorsing the claim.
Some items are proposals with an Approve proposal action. Read the proposed outcome and confirmation rather than treating every approval as a claim endorsement.
Work through a large queue
Section titled “Work through a large queue”The queue count can be larger than the displayed collection. When Previous claims and Next claims appear, they move between claim batches. Search and sorting apply to the current batch; the page states that scope. The smaller page controls move through the loaded items.
A failed read can make the queue incomplete. Use Refresh or Try again after checking the connection. Don’t interpret a partial list as a complete count of outstanding work.
Check the recorded result
Section titled “Check the recorded result”Use Record to inspect available records and their evidence. Open the details and receipts offered for the item when you need to understand its origin or review history. A verification result concerns the recorded evidence; it isn’t a substitute for judging the source.
For access requests, use the workspace and access guide before approving a change to what another person can read.
Batched decision ratification and check-in settings are coming soon. See Approvals and Needs you for that planned flow. The review controls above don’t provide those settings.
